Who is the assessment for?
If you’re in Grades 4–10, there’s a test for your level. Choose your current grade to get started.
How long does it take?
There are 15 questions. You have a maximum of 10 minutes, starting when you press “Start my test”. The test ends automatically when time runs out. Work independently without a calculator; pen and paper are welcome.
Is the assessment free?
Yes, the basic assessment is free. MathsLove also offers detailed AI-powered insights into strengths and areas to practise.
What does the Maths IQ score mean?
Maths IQ (MIQ) is a score from 0 to 150 that reflects accuracy and total completion time. Use it alongside question reviews as a starting point for learning, rather than a fixed label for your ability.
What happens after the assessment?
You’ll see your score and a review of your answers. Detailed analysis helps you explore mathematical strengths and identify areas that could benefit from more practice.
